After a stint in print news in business and features for Tribune Newspapers, she pivoted to marketing and media for the hospitality and entertainment industries, serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Research for Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in Chicago, a $15 billion luxury hotel real estate advisor and broker. She also served as a story analyst for a major Hollywood production company
Kristina worked on the editing team for New York Times best-selling author Lisa Nichols’ book, Unbreakable Spirit. From there she began working one-on-one with authors and speakers as a developmental editor and coach. This led to coaching work with TEDx, Heroic Public Speaking, and private clients such as Valerie Plame, ex-CIA agent-turned-author, among other luminaries at HBO and multiple Fortune 500 companies. She’s won awards for screenwriting, marketing and leadership. Most recently, she’s written about a famous 40-year-old unsolved murder in Washington, DC.
